Surrender All to God 2/18/2021

The fear-mindset is filled with anxiety, guilt, and stress. You live thinking that there will never be enough—whether it’s money, food, time, resources—and as a result, your actions and thoughts stem from a place of lack. Instead of believing that God is good and will supply all your needs, you cling to what you can control.

Why would anyone ever want to live that way? What’s the solution? It’s found in becoming alive to give. The one truth I have seen over and over again in life is that we can never out give God. God doesn’t need anything from us.

He owns the universe (Psalm 50:12), He has infinite resources at His disposal and He is the Ultimate “Giver (James 1:17). He spoke everything into existence and everything depends on Him. He lacks for nothing.

It’s the incredible joy of God to give life and every good thing to those who seek Him. The God of the Bible is a God who loves to give. We can’t out give God.

God wants to pour out His peace, favor, and blessing into your life. He wants you to live to the fullness of your potential. But in order to do that, you have to open up your life fully to Him. When your life is in a place of shortage God can be trusted to provide everything you need.

He has a solution to every shortage that you have, but the solution will always require faith.

Faith constantly makes a decision to not let fear drive us, but to trust in what God can do. It’s a decision that you will let go of your agenda, will, resources, and life in surrender to Christ.

As you open your life in surrender, you enter a place where you are now open to receive all that God wants to do in you and through you. When your hands are open you let go of the fear that ultimately had a hold on you.

Over and over I have seen God’s provision in tangible ways. He always moves to meet all your needs and provides in ways you never expected. Every need you have, God will pour His goodness into that area.

Emotional needs. Spiritual needs. Relational needs. Financial needs. If you get your life in a position of faith you have no clue all that God will do through you.”
