Hover Over Me, Lord 1/21/2021

“Divine Love is the grace you need in order to heal the wounds in your heart that you cannot heal yourself.

All of us know what it is like to be hurt so badly that we can hardly breathe. We may want to forgive that person, and perhaps that individual wants to forgive us, but we are at a complete dead end.

The love we once felt is frozen, if not completely drained from our system. Divine Love is the grace that revitalizes and renews our capacity to love again. It provides you with the strength to forgive that which you thought you could never forgive, and to get on with friendships or partnerships that you are better with than without.

Lord, every time I stand in the sunlight, let me be reminded of holy, divine light and the power of Love, especially when I am not feeling loving.

In those moments, let Your Love shine upon me, that I may live that day as a channel of Love for others.

At the very least, prevent me from harming others—from passing to them any anger or personal suffering I might be feeling that day.

Those issues are mine to heal. So, lead me through the portal of Love, one day at a time. And hover over me, Lord, on this holy journey.”
