Living to Serve 12/16/2020

“When Jesus calls us to follow Him, it’s an invitation to pick up the towel and join Him in serving others. It’s seeing everything we have as a gift from God, and we know that without Him we have nothing.

We don’t fret about who acknowledges what we do. We stop caring about public approval and seeking fame for good deeds. We live life and serve others because it matters to God. He notices everything we do and His validation is all that really matters.

Our position and purpose is found in loving God and being used by God.

This great truth empowers us to serve others with authentic humility. We no longer care what others think about us because God loves us. We don’t seek to make ourselves famous, but seek to bring Him glory.

Living to serve is the path where we find fulfillment and really start to live alive.

We stop living for our wants by surrendering our agenda to God.

Spend time today praying for God to use you to serve whomever He desires and wherever He desires.”
