Reading & Pondering Today 4-27

image“Today I find my calling.

A calling is an organic field of energy emerging from the deepest aspects of who I am. It is the fulfillment of what God has created me to be and do. Approaching my work as a job versus approaching it as a calling makes all the difference in whether or not I dwell in the miraculous universe.

I have a calling simply because I am alive. I have a calling because I am a child of God. I have a calling because I’m on this earth with a divine purpose: to rise to the level of my highest creative possibility, expressing all that I am intellectually, emotionally, psychologically, and physically in order to make the universe a more beautiful place.

My calling is what I would do whether I were paid to do it or not. It is what I have to do in order to be happy. My calling connects me to my deepest self, and to the rest of life around me. Today may I find my calling, if only in my heart.

As I hear God’s call within me, I answer with all my heart. Our love will resonate throughout the universe, and form the calling of my soul on earth. Great power will emanate from this greatest of loves. And so it is. Amen.”
